SEND Workshop for Governors

Governing bodies have important statutory duties towards pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

This workshop will provide governors with an understanding of:

· the role and responsibilities of the SEND governor

· how to challenge and support the SENCO in your school

· the law around special educational needs and your duties

· how to ask the right questions

This workshop is vital to those governors undertaking the role of SEND governor and will also be very informative for Chairs and other governors.
